Every coin has two sides and sometimes death turns to be a gift from heaven.

The events of Kate’s terrible childhood have left an indelible mark on her soul and made her hate everything associated with faith. Fortuitously escaping the impending death in a pseudo-religious sect called “the house of the Lord” at 14, now in her thirties, Kate is uncompromising. She considers herself a reasonable person with tightly cemented notions of life and inviolable concepts. Everything changes when her roommate whom she’s hopelessly in love with, suddenly disappears, leaving no traces of her existence.

Kate begins her investigation, not even knowing the real name of her beloved. Step by step circumstances forces her to take a new look at the world and the people around her and to admit once again sometimes death is a gift from heaven.
